Your first visit

  1. 01

    Step 1: Book your visit

Choose a location, an artist and a time on the booking page. Maps, shape and tint visits and laminations take a deposit, and the page says which. We confirm by text or email.

  2. 02

    Step 2: What to bring

Photos of brows you like, and a list of anything that irritates your skin or eyes. Come with bare brows if you can, and skip waxing and tweezing at home for about two weeks.

  3. 03

    Step 3: When you arrive

Arrive five minutes early. Bessemer has parking behind the building, off 19th Street North, and Hueytown has parking in front of the suite.

  4. 04

    Step 4: What to expect

Your artist maps your brow, draws the shape and changes it until you like it, then shapes. A first visit takes 45 to 60 minutes, and up to 75 with tint.

Patch test and timing

When to wait, or ask first

A patch test comes before a first tint or lamination. These are the times to hold off or ask your doctor.

  • Irritated skin

A sunburn, rash, cut or recent peel near the brow. Rebook when it has settled.

  • A reaction before

If dye or adhesive has ever bothered you, tell us when you book. We may skip tint.

  • Pregnancy or new medicine

Ask your doctor first about tint, lamination or wax, and tell your artist what they said.

  • Eye infection or surgery

Wait until your doctor says you can have work near your eyes again.

What a patch test is

A small test, a day or more ahead

We put a small amount of tint on your skin and check it later. It helps, but it can't predict every reaction, so tell us about allergies and sensitive skin too.
