Policies for both locations
One set of rules, the same in Bessemer and Hueytown. Ask us if anything here doesn't fit your situation.
Booking and deposits
A deposit holds your time for a map and shape, a shape and tint, or a lamination, and it goes toward your service. Thread, wax and tidy visits book with no deposit. The booking page marks which services take one, and you book either location on the same page.
Canceling and running late
Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit, at either location. Your deposit moves with you. With less notice, we keep it. If you are running late, we hold your time for 10 minutes, and after that your visit is shortened, not extended.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss a visit without a word, we keep the deposit and ask for one to hold your next visit. If something comes up, call or text the location you booked and we'll find another time.
Children and companions
Visits are for the client, so a guest waits in the lobby, and any child waits there with an adult. We work with clients 16 and over; under 18, a parent or guardian comes along and consents to a tint or lamination.
Patch tests and allergies
Tint is offered where state rules allow it, and we patch test every new client before a first tint or lamination, a day or more ahead, at either location. A patch test helps but can't predict every reaction, so tell us about allergies, sensitive skin or eyes, and any reaction you've had to dye or adhesive. If you notice burning, swelling, redness or blurred vision after a visit, tell us and call your doctor or go to urgent care.
If you're not happy
Tell us within a few days and we'll make it right. Your artist or the lead will look at your brows with you and say what we can do.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay, and it goes to the artist who worked on you.
Before your visit
Arrive five minutes early with bare brows if you can. Skip waxing and tweezing at home for about two weeks before a first map, so we can see your natural shape, and skip retinol and peeling products near your brows for a few days.
When to ask your doctor first
If you are pregnant, take a medicine that sensitizes your skin, or have a skin or eye condition near the brow, ask your doctor before a tint, lamination or wax. Tell your artist, and we'll suggest another service if that's better for you.
